The Chameleon, A Multicolor Reptile
In this educational video dedicated to children we will learn, by studying the chameleon, which is a multicolor reptile, the basic characteristics of all reptiles. It is one of the most curious reptiles that exist as they can camouflage themselves by changing the color of their body. The chameleon, just like any other reptile, is covered completely by hard scales which protects them from an enemy attack.
Like crocodiles, snakes and a great majority of reptiles are carnivorous meaning that they need to hunt to stay alive.
They capture their prey by using their tongue. The tip of the tough is sticky and when it touches the prey, it sticks to it and is then gobbled up. The chameleon’s main diet is insects though sometimes they may eat a small mammal or bird. It is without a doubt a multicolor reptile.
