The Birds
This is an educational video dedicated to preschool and primary children and is all about birds.
Birds are oviparous which means that they reproduce by laying eggs. They don’t have teeth but beaks or bills and these can be very different in shape depending on what species of bird feeds on what type of food. They breathe through their lungs that are connected to bags full of air called air sacs and these help birds fly. Birds have four limbs, the back ones are legs and the front ones are wings. Both the wings and feathers are essential for them to fly and in some cases even swim.
Depending on what birds eat, they can be either herbivores, feeding on plants and grass, carnivores like the eagles and owls which hunt and eat other animals and omnivorous like doves and chicken which eat practically everything.
